NobleMEIR - IWS Series (Improved Water Systems)
Almost every business has its own particular water demands. Drinking water is often a fundamental product ingredient in the Food and Beverage industry. It can be available as tap water, groundwater, surface water or even seawater, depending on the business location. Independent of the source, treatment is almost always necessary to obtain the required quality of process water or product water. Especially today, with growing environmental awareness, emphasis on good stewardship of natural resources, and water scarcity growing even in historically water-rich parts of the world, businesses are required to demonstrate a commitment to water sustainability.
Reuse of water helps to protect natural resources and is quickly becoming an established practice. It also makes commercial sense to boost profits through efficient water use.
Applications
NobleMEIR’s IWS Series serves the Agricultural, Industrial Minerals, Food & Beverage, Brewery, and Recreational Industries with proven technology for a wide range of applications. A bottling plant has different needs than, for example, a syrup factory. Product water in the beverage industry has to meet very high-quality standards, while process water offers opportunities for endless reuse. Seemingly modest water savings can add up to impressive cost reductions, as can efficient wastewater treatment and full regulatory compliance.
With our broad expertise and decades of experience, we support our customers with custom-made solutions that provide the all-important competitive edge in tough international markets. We deliver water solutions for most water challenges, whether they are related to optimum use and reuse, maximum recovery of valuable components in waste streams, maximizing uptime, protection of your equipment, efficient wastewater treatment, polishing processes or all of the above. Whether trying to remove bacteria >99.9999%, particles >2.9micron, treat water with up to 250 mg/l of total suspended solids, removing colloidal, granular or dissolved silica >99.8% our IWS Filtration systems are a solution.

Solutions
The IWS Series delivers innovative solutions for many industries. We can develop solutions that will manage the water resources at your disposal safely and effectively, from pretreating raw materials and preparing drinks or foodstuffs in processing lines to treating wastewater for reuse or disposal. Our solutions diminish the overall water footprint of manufacturing plants while reducing downtime and OPEX, allowing our customers to operate more efficiently than ever before.
Breweries produce wastewater streams with high organic loads. The sugars, alcohol and solids are mostly soluble and highly biodegradable, making biological treatment simple and efficient. NobleMEIR offers several membrane-based wastewater treatment concepts. The best choice depends on the disposal requirements and feedwater characteristics. With your local situation and business objectives as the starting point, NobleMEIR’s IWS Series delivers the optimum solution for treatment and/or reuse.
