Shaker Tables

NobleMEIR shaker tables feature excellent separation between higher density material, lower density material, and waste products. Our tables are used in mineral processing facilities worldwide for the recovery of precious metals from low tonnage streams, recovery of cassiterite and tantalite/columbite from ores, and concentration/upgrading of fine gravity circuits for gold, tin and mineral sands.

Common Industries:

Shaker tables are environmentally friendly (chemical free) for beneficiation.  Predominantly, used in the final process steps of gold ore without the use of mercury amalgamation or cyanide. Shaker tables are a thin film, shear flow process equipment, that separates particle grains of its feed material based on the differences of their specific gravity, density, size and shape.

 Operating variables:

  • Solids characteristics

  • Table Speed

  • Stroke speed

  • Deck inclination

  • Wash water volume

 General adjustments for operations include:

  • Roughing operations

    1. More water

    2. More feed

    3. More tilt

    4. Longer stroke

Cleaning operations

  • Less water

  • Less feed/ore

  • Less tilt

  • Shorter stroke

  • For fine feed/ore

    1. Less water

    2. Less feed

    3. Faster reciprocation

    4. Shorter stroke

  • For coarse feed/ore

    1. More water

    2. More feed

    3. Slower reciprocation

    4. Longer stroke

With a long history in the robust design and manufacturing of shaker tables.  The Holman-Wilfley style tables have studied the needed motion, inertia, stroke patterns, riffle designs, and launderers to master the shaker table design and function.  All supplied Holman-Wilfley models of shaker tables carry the CE marking for European safety standards.
